It was a period of intense uncertainty for Hong Kong businesses, and the question was not simply how to promote more\u2014it was how to remain relevant, trusted and connected.<\/p>\n\n<p>My central message was that SMEs needed strategy, but they also needed a little more \u201cLOVE\u201d. Yet it works best when treated as a relationship channel rather than a stream of advertisements. Businesses can use it to answer questions, explain changes, demonstrate expertise and keep a community informed.<\/p>\n\n<p>A rebound-ready approach includes:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Listening<\/strong> for customer concerns and emerging needs;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Offering<\/strong> genuinely useful information, reassurance or solutions;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Valuing<\/strong> existing customers instead of focusing only on acquisition; and<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u5f15\u4eba\u5165\u52dd<\/strong> through timely, human conversations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Preparing_before_demand_returns\"><\/span>Preparing before demand returns<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Recovery planning should begin before conditions feel normal. SMEs can review their digital presence, clarify their value proposition, update key customer information and build a repeatable content rhythm. This preparation makes it easier to respond when demand changes.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is also important to connect content with a clear customer journey. A useful post should lead naturally to the next step\u2014learning more, asking a question, booking a consultation or making a purchase\u2014without resorting to pressure.<\/p>\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_principle_that_remains_relevant\"><\/span>A principle that remains relevant<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Platforms and tools have changed since 2020, and AI now gives small teams new ways to research, create and personalise content. However, the human foundation remains the same. Technology should help a business understand and serve people better, not make communication feel less personal.<\/p>\n\n<p>This idea continues to guide my <a href=\"\/zh-hk\/corporate-training\/\">corporate training programmes<\/a> for SMEs, professional groups and business organisations.
