Story earns attention; AI scales it
Leaders need stories to explain direction, build trust and help teams understand why change matters. AI can support research, ideation and adaptation, but it does not remove the need for judgement or emotional intelligence.
Dr Wong showed how the combination can support branding, leadership communication and culture-building without simply producing more noise.
The REACH storytelling framework
The session introduced the REACH framework developed through Dr Wong’s research and training practice. It helps leaders shape stories that connect with an audience, create clarity and lead to action.

- Build resonance rather than relying only on information
- Use AI to extend and adapt a strong story, not compensate for a weak one
- Translate narrative into action across teams, brands and organisational culture
Practical leadership communication
The programme focused on tangible approaches for leaders and teams. When a story is clear and authentic, it can align people, strengthen a brand and make change easier to understand. AI becomes most useful after that strategic foundation is in place.
