The After COVID-19 report of McKinsey Global Institute’s Future of Work estimates that 1 out of 16 global workers need to re-skill by 2030. In line with this, the Institute will organize a new training series as supported by HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme 2021.
“Own My Path” Skills Transformation Training Programme aims to boost future skills training and practical vocational experiences. The 6-month Programme will help 100 young people ages 18 to 35 to adapt to the new normal of the “gig economy.” It comprises four elements:
- Hands-On Practices in Running Digital Shops and Market Stalls
- Skills Workshops
- Webinars
- Weekend Bazaars

The first “Post-pandemic Skills Transformation” Webinar will be held on the 30th of October (Saturday) with 1st session from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2nd session from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants who will complete the webinar and workshops will receive a LinkedIn Learning Account, to further cultivate their independent learning habits and self-leadership ability.
