On 10 June 2020, Bernie Wong, the owner and founder of Social Stand Limited, was invited by the Faculty of Business and Economics in Hong Kong University as a guest lecturer to give an intensive, one-day class on e-Marketing.
The class covered social media marketing and digital storytelling and how both go hand in hand in creating effective marketing campaigns. The goal of the class was to educate and prepare students for tackling real consultation projects for their businesses.
During the class, Bernie broke the students up into groups and gave them workshops that challenged their creativity and quick-thinking. He discussed the importance of relaying the brand’s story and just how to do that with the content that the brand produces. These skills will be extremely useful once they step out into the real world and tackle projects of their own.
